Anna Lunaria Dipl. Acu, L.Ac is a graduate of Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture with a MS in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and NCCAOM Diplomate. Anna also has specialized training in Neurology, Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Acupuncture. She holds an AA from Simon's Rock of Bard College & a BA from Hampshire College. Anna attended one of America's top massage therapy schools, the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, in Santa Fe, where she completed a 650 hour training and specialized in Medical Massage, Prenatal Massage, and Yoga. Anna has also completed specialized training in Yoga Therapy and Hypnotherapy.

In 1998 Anna founded the Lunaria Holistic Health Center and the Lunaria Bodywork Institute in Lawrence Kansas. She's continued to deepen and broaden her experience and understanding of the human body and healing by being an anatomy and massage instructor for the past 18 years and is an approved provider of Continuing Education class for other licensed massage therapists by the National Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Anna has over 1,500 hours of experience teaching Anatomy! Anna is also an Approved Provider of Professional Development for NCCAOM and provides on-line continuing education classes for Acupuncture professionals. Anna is an internationally recognized expert in High Level Disinfection for Cupping and Gua Sha devices. Anna has practiced Yoga since she was 16 and has been a yoga teacher for over 30 years.

Anna began experiencing back pain when she was 10. For 15 years she searched for solutions to resolving her back pain.
