Acupuncture/Front Desk Assistant
Yin Rising Acupuncture is seeking
1 part time acupuncture assistant(s)/Front Desk.**
Starting pay is $14 hr
Hours:
Mondays 12:30-4
Wednesday 12:30-5
Thursdays 12:45-7:45
Friday 12:30-4
Primary Activities:
Answer the phones and book appointments.
Follow up with patients & contact patients for rescheduling.
Collect new patient contact information and enter it into our system.
Greet patients & check them in (we run 2-5 rooms per hour with 8-20+ patients per day)
Assist new patients in filling out health history form: manage patient charts. HIPPA compliant.
Keep patient address and contact records up to date
Prep, tidy, light cleaning & close treatment rooms
Keep the patient flow moving.
Check patients out: process payments for treatment and rebook their next appointment
Maintain herbal/product inventory
Washing/Disinfecting Cupping Therapy cups.
Occasionally run errands
Wash/Fold sheets
Data entry
Qualifications
Able to be simultaneously friendly with patients while maintaining good/professional boundaries.
Good phone skills.
Attentive to details (especially with $)
Good at remembering names & faces.
College degree or equivalent experience preferred
Basic Computer/iPad skills required (using our patient management system is required)
Enjoy people and bring smiles and a positive outlook to the office.
Have a great team attitude yet also with the ability to work independently
Great communication skills
Ability to readily take constructive feedback and improve performance
Previous experience with acupuncture is helpful but not required, however the ability to gain experience with acupuncture and increase knowledge about it is required.
We do not currently take insurance: however will be in 2019, using an outside biller.
Prefer those who live in the Tempe/East Valley.
We will provide HIPPA Compliance + additional training.

*The ideal candidate is naturally a morning person as your regular shift will be M-W-F starting @ 8 am!
The ideal candidate will also be willing to cover the afternoon shift to cover vacation/sick days.
** The ideal candidate for our afternoon shift will optimally be flexible to sometimes be able to cover the AM shift and be able to stay later as needed.
